کوین ترنر مدیر عملیاتی مایکروسافت در WPC 2014 که امروز برگزار شد از حضور تبلت های بیشتر 8 اینچی ویندوزی در بازار خبر داد. فوجیتسو امروز به دنبال همین اعلام مایکروسافت تبلت ARROWS Tab Q335/K ویندوزی 8 اینچی خود را معرفی کرد.
این تبلت بسیار سبک 400 گرمی با یک پردازنده اینتل اتم Z3735F، ویندوز 8.1 پرو و آفیس مایکروسافت همراه شده و مشتریان شرکتی را هدف قرار داده است. تبلت جدید فوجیتسو عرضی 126 میلیمتری و ضخامتی 9.9 میلیمتری را دارد.
فوجیتسو در اطلاعیه ای که منتشر کرده، از همکاری خود با مایکروسافت در پروژه Siena نیز خبر داده تا تبلت جدید فوجیتسو را به انتخابی بهتر برای کارمندان شرکت‌ها، مؤسسات اقتصادی و بیزینسی تبدیل کند. پروژه Siena که بر حسب اتفاق همین امروز نسخه بتای سوم آن از سوی مایکروسافت اعلام شد، در تلاش است تا بدون کدنویسی افراد فعال در حوزه‌های اقتصادی و شرکتی و حتی غیرشرکتی را ترغیب به تولید اپلیکیشن کند.
نکته جالب ARROWS Tab Q335/K فوجیتسو اینجاست که در عین کوچکی، این دستگاه از ویندوز پرو 8.1 به جای ویندوز RT بهره‌مند شده است. اکتبر امسال زمانی است که برای رونمایی و فروش این محصول در نظر گرفته شده است. قیمت و جزئیات بیشتر سخت افزاری آن نیز فعلا مسکوت مانده تا در مراسم ویژه ای که در همان اکتبر برگزار می‌شود، مشخص شوند.

“Fujitsu today announced the development of the FUJITSU Tablet ARROWS Tab Q335/K, an easy-to-hold and operate 8-inch Windows tablet for enterprise customers. The new model is planned to be rolled out in stages worldwide from October 2014,” a Fujitsu press release stated.
The ARROWS Tab Q335/K is a compact and lightweight 8-inch tablet that comes with latest Intel Atom processor Z3735F and the latest Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. While being portable, it also comes with Microsoft Office so you can edit and create documents on the go. This device is being marketed as ideal for business use. The device can easily be held in one hand since it weighs less than 400 grams. It is also 126 mm in width and 9.9 mm in thickness.

This device is set to be available starting October of this year. Pricing and detailed specs were not revealed. Interestingly enough, this small device runs Windows 8.1 Pro, rather than Windows RT.
