امروز تصویر مربوط به آگهی تبلیغاتی موتورولا و شبکه مخابراتی ورایزون به بیرون در کرده که در آن تلفن جایگزین Droid RAZR MAXX تبلیغ شده است. تا به امروز هیچ تلفن اندرویدی طول عمر باتری RAZR MAXX را ارائه نکرده و حالا موتورلا قصد دارد رکورد این تلفن را با محصول جدید خود با نام Droid MAXX بکشند. شایعه شده که این تلفن مجهز به باتری 9,000 میلی آمپر ساعتی است!
لازم است یادآور شویم که پرچمداران محبوب دنیای اندروید یعنی گلکسی اس 4، اچ تی سی وان و اکسپریا Z به ترتیب دارای باتری با ظرفیت 2600، 2300 و 2330 میلی آمپر ساعتی هستند.
حال براساس شواهد بدست آمده موتورلا قصد دارد تلفن Droid MAXX را با باتری 9000 میلی آمپرساعتی وارد بازار کند. تلفنی که بدون شارژ باتری دو روز کامل را دوام می‌آورد تا هنگام کار با آن هرگز نگران تمام شدن باتری دستگاه نباشید..
همچنین گفته می‌شود که گوگل در این زمینه به موتورولا کمک کرده تا بهنیه سازی‌های مختلفی را برای کاهش مصرف انرژی و افزایش طول عمر باتری اعمال کند.

New Droid MAXX to have “48 hours of worry-free battery life”
We will keep this near the “too good to be true” file, but it looks like a line that Motorola and Verizon will be running with on this leaked commercial storyboard. Motorola’s well established line of Droid RAZR MAXX devices are known for their large batteries providing long hours of usage away from the charger. For nominal use, the MAXX is really the only Android device that lets you not worry about being near a charger for any length of time.
For the new Droid MAXX, the promise of a beefy battery is taking battery performance expectations to a new level. The 30-second advertisement takes us to the beautiful waters of somewhere tropical when the boat’s engine fails and the young, attractive couple assesses their situation.
When asked by his female companion how much battery he has left on his Droid MAXX, he replies, “Two days.” Later a voice-over confirms the assertion, “48 hours of worry-free battery life, the new Droid MAXX.” That will be an impressive feat indeed, assuming there is not a 9,000mAh battery tucked inside what would then be a brick-sized device.
Is it possible that Motorola (and Google) have formulated a way through various optimizations, new chipsets and other wizardry to create a wondrously battery efficient device? Absolutely. 48 “worry-free” hours efficient? We will believe it when we see it.
