The Oppo N3 is becoming more intriguing with each new piece of the puzzle we unravel, and as the smartphone’s official launch event closes in with each passing day, the N3 keeps getting under the spotlight, flaunting various unique features.

Not one day has passed this week without the Oppo N3 hitting the headlines, and today is no exception. A few hours ago a new video popped-up on Youku showcasing the smartphone’s smart rotating camera in action, and we have to admit that we’re quite impressed.

As most of you are aware of, the original Oppo N1 featured a unique camera capable of rotating around its axis at up to 206 degrees. Much like the original model, the Oppo N3 also features a rotating camera, but unlike N1′s unit which needed to be rotated manually, the sequel’s main shooter appears to be connected to a motor, allowing for automatic rotation.

The video description also refers to the unit as a “Smart rotating camera”, so we’re guessing that the module can rotate automatically depending on the setting selected by the user. In other words, if you enter selfie mode the camera should position itself accordingly. Check out the video below and see the shooter in action.

We should also mention that the video above is quite official, as earlier today Oppo’s CEO, Chenming Yong, linked it on his official Weibo account.

So to make a quick recap, the Oppo N3 promises a lithium-aluminum or stainless steel build, a unique cooling system for the internals, as well as a “smart” rotating camera boasting a 1/2.3 inch sensor. Needless to say, we’re very excited by the N3′s eventual market release, and we’re eager to learn more about what makes it tick.
