از امروز اندروید 5.0 برای تمامی کاربران خانواده Nexus عرضه می‌شود که می‌توان آن را از طریق خود گوشی دریافت کرده و یا جداگانه فایل آن را دانلود و بر روی گوشی نصب نمود.
دستگاه‌های اصلی گوگل شامل: Nexus 5 و Nexus 7 2013 و Nexus 10 و Nexus 7 2012 از سیستم‌عامل اندروید 5.0 موسوم به Lollipop بهره‌مند می‌شوند. همچنین گوشی LG Nexus 4 نیز این نسخه را دریافت خواهد کرد. فایل این نسخه از سیستم‌عامل در اینترنت برای تمامی مدل‌ها به صورت جداگانه در دسترس می‌باشد.
لازم به ذکر است که فایل اجرایی این سیستم‌عامل فقط برای نسخه‌های Wi-Fi تبلت های Nexus 7 مدل‌های 2012 و 2013 در دسترس است و دارندگان مدل‌های سیم‌کارت خور، برای دریافت این آپدیت باید کمی صبر کنند.
نه تنها خانواده Nexus خبر از عرضه این سیستم‌عامل داده، بلکه ساعاتی پیش، کمپانی‌های Motorola و LG نیز خبر از عرضه این نسخه اندرویدی برای گوشی‌های Moto G 2014 و Moto X 2014 و همچنین G3 داده‌اند.

Android 5.0 Lollipop is now seeding to the Nexus family
Android 5.0 Lollipop is now seeding to members of the Nexus product family. The latest firmware is available over-the-air or through factory image available for download.
The Pure Google devices that are getting the Android 5.0 treatment include Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 10, and Nexus 7 (2012). Factory images of the new OS version are already available to download and flash. LG Nexus 4 will also receive the new Android build, though it is yet to to receive a Lollipop factory image.
It is worth nothing that Android 5.0 factory images available only for the Wi-Fi versions of both Nexus 7 models. Owners of 2012 and 2013 Nexus 7 devices with cellular connectivity will have to be a bit more patient.
The Nexus facility is not the only product range to receive Android 5.0 Lollipop today. A few hours ago, Motorola announced that the new OS is seeding the Moto G (2014) and the Moto X (2014) Pure Edition. The LG G3 has also begun receiving a heavily customized Lollipop build.
