Liquid Image Unveils OPS Camera Goggles

For those of you who might be more action-inclined, an excellent way to commemorate your adventures is through photos of videos, but instead of hiring someone to record you, or maybe if you’d like to be more in control, how does the idea of wearable cameras sound? Liquid Image has a couple of such devices for you, whether you’re the type of adventurer who prefers swimming or freediving, or maybe even skiing, Liquid Image’s OPS goggles could be of interest to you. These goggles are available as two different models: the OPS Swim Goggle or the OPS Snow Goggle, and we guess the names of the models are dead giveaways to what they have been designed for, and rightfully so given that both models do sport different designs which are appropriate for the activity that they are meant for. Starting with the Swim Goggle, this particular model will come with a 3MP camera that has the ability to record videos in Full HD 1080p quality at 30fps, and 720p HD video at 60fps. However despite its name, Liquid Image has suggested that it is also usable for freediving as well.
As for the Snow Goggle model, it will share the same specs as the Swim Goggle albeit in a different body. Both models will allow for memory expansion via a 32GB micro SDHC card and a rechargeable battery that is reportedly good for 1.5-2 hours of HD video. Both models will also feature LED lights built into the inner part of the goggles themselves to show the wearer which mode that they have activated, with external buttons along the goggles that will act as on/off/video mode, and additional buttons to help capture still images. The Swim Goggle will retail for $119.99 while the Snow Goggle will go for a slightly more expensive $199.99, with estimated availability set for May 2014 and January 2014 respectively via Liquid Image’s website.
