According to a rumor back in August, word on the street was that Nikon was preparing to launch a new full frame camera in the form of the Nikon D750. Well if you were wondering what you could expect from the camera upon its official announcement, you might be interested to learn that the folks at Nikon Rumors have managed to get their hands on the specs of the camera, adding on to the leaked specs from earlier.

Starting with its sensor, it seems that not much has changed as the newly leaked specs reveal a 24.3MP full frame sensor. The body of the Nikon D750 is also said to be compact and lightweight, which is great as full frame DSLRs tend to be a bit heavy, and will also sport a double SD card slot. It will also be robust and will reportedly have weather sealing.

The camera will also come with a 3.2-inch display that is tiltable, although we’re not sure just how tiltable it is yet. There will be a new improved mirror/shutter mechanism, an AF system with 51 focus areas, a burst rate of 6.5 frames per second, an EXPEED 4 image processor, ISO range from 100-12,800 (expandable to 50-51,200), and will be able to record Full HD video in 24, 25, 30, 50, and 60p.

There also seems to be built-in WiFi but no mention as to whether there could be NFC as well. The official pricing has yet to be revealed but according to a listing a German price comparison website has revealed that the body-only option will retail for around $2,700. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but we should be hearing an official announcement soon.
