زمان برای عرضه یک آیفون با صفحه نمایشی بزرگتر در حال رسیدن است. به گفته Peter Misek تحلیلگر Jefferies & Co، اسمارت فون Apple iPhone 6 دارای صفحه نمایشی ۴.۸ اینچی خواهد بود. البته Misek تنها این عقیده را ندارد و گزارشات مشابهی از سوی Wall Street Journal و KGI Securities منتشر شده که برروی این موضوع تاکید دارند.
البته این موضوع در حال حاضر در حد شایعه است، اما روز به روز بر تعداد شواهدی که نشان دهنده این موضوع که اپل در حال تست آیفون با صفحه نمایشی بزرگتر است افزوده می شود. iPhone 6 همچنین می تواند دستگاهی مناسب برای نشان دادن طراحی جدید اپل باشد، محصولی که سال آینده میلادی معرفی خواهد شد (۲ سال بعد از آنکه اپل آیفون ۵ که دارای صفحه نمایشی بزرگتر از نسل قبلی بود را معرفی نمود). با توجه به معرفی رقبای اندرویدی آیفون با سایز صفحه نمایشی در حدود ۵ اینچ، شاید اپل هم به این نتیجه رسیده که این روزها مردم به اسمارت فونی با سایز بزرگتر علاقه بیشتری نشان می دهند.

Apple iPhone 6 might arrive with a bigger, 4.8" display
The time for an iPhone with a larger display is finally coming. The Apple iPhone 6 will be the first iPhone to get a larger, 4.8-inch screen, according to Jefferies & Co. analyst Peter Misek. It’s not just Misek, though – we have seen reports from the Wall Street Journal and KGI Securities mentioning an iPhone with a larger screen being in the works.
This is still nothing but a rumor, but there seems to be more and more evidence that Apple is indeed testing a larger device. The iPhone 6 also seems like a right fit for a new design as it should come next year, two years after the last big redesign in the iPhone series with the iPhone 5.
“Despite still seeing risk to CQ4 and FY13 revs, we now believe better [gross margins] will allow Apple to skate by until iPhone 6 launches with its 4.8″ screen,” Misek wrote in a note. ”We est ~50% of smartphone shipments have >4″ screens and that iPhone 6 will catalyze a large upgrade cycle. The stock is attractive based on the attitude change, FY15 revs >+15%, and valuation.”
Misek previously issues a Hold rating on Apple stock, and is now once again bullish, giving Apple shares a Buy rating and raising his target for the stock to $600.
