کمپانی‌های بزرگ گوشی‌های تلفن، با ارائه‌ی محصولات پرچمدار خود، رقابت در این حوزه را وارد فاز جدیدی کرده‌اند. در این راستا، گویا غول کره‌ای نیز درصدد وارد کردن قوی‌ترین بازیکن خود، به میدان رقابت است.
یکی از نشریات کره‌ای که تحت نظر یکی از کارمندان سابق سامسونگ اداره می‌شود، خبر از برگزاری جلسه‌ای حول طراحی و تولید گلکسی S5 در این غول کره‌ای داده است. در حقیقت، برخی از کارمندان سایت Naver در کره‌ی جنوبی، احتمال معرفی گلکسی S5 را در بهمن ماه سال جاری بسیار بالا می‌دانند. این زمان مصادف است با نمایشگاه MWC، که گمانه‌زنی‌ها در مورد ارائه‌ی یک محصول را توسط سامسونگ در این روزها بسیار قوت می‌بخشد. کارشناسان دلیل این شتاب‌زدگی را عدم برآورده کردن انتظارات توسط گلکسی S4 در بازار و آمار فروش می‌دانند که باعث شده است مسئولان سامسونگ عمر 11 تا 12 ماهه‌ی محصول پرچمدار خود را به 9 ماه کاهش دهند. این خبر توسط یکی دیگر از منابع کره‌ای فعال در حوزه‌ی فناوری نیز تایید شده است.
امسال رقابت بین گوشی‌های پرچمدار کمپانی‌های بزرگ وارد فاز جدید شده است، شاید این عامل سامسونگ را وادار به عکس‌العمل و اتخاذ تصمیماتی سریع کرده است. بنابر اخبار منتشر شده، سامسونگ در نظر دارد تا نسخه‌ی بعدی گلکسی را به پردازنده‌ی 64 بیتی Exynos، دوربین 16 مگاپیکسلی با لرزش‌گیر اپتیکال، حس‌گر اثرانگشت مجهز نموده و به شاسی‌هایی که از الگوی طراحی Design 3.0 با بدنه‌ی فلزی پیروی می‌کنند، آراسته خواهد کند.
همه‌ی این شایعات را باید در کنار اخبار منتشر شده از سامسونگ در نظر بگیریم که حاکی از ارائه گوشی با بدنه‌ی فلزی هستند. مطمئنا ارائه چنین محصولی متفاوت از تولیدات پیشین این کمپانی خواهد بود. هنوز شنیده‌ها در این مورد در حد شایعات است و همه چیز به تصمیمات تیم طراحی سامسونگ بستگی دارد.

Samsung Galaxy S5 sped up for January tease: 64-bit Exynos, 16 MP OIS camera in a metallic body
A Korean publication ran by former Samsung employee is reporting that the company has held meetings so as the next Galaxy S5 flagship edition be brought forward.
In fact, Naver cites insiders who claim that the Galaxy S5 would be teased as early as January 2014, and be announced the next month, in February. That coincides with the MWC expo, and it doesn't seem far fetched that Samsung is going to unveil something major around those dates. The rush is apparently due to sagging sales of the Galaxy S4, the sources claim, and Samsung has decided to shorten the life cycle to 9 months instead of the usual eleven or so, and this reason we heard mentioned by another Korean publication just two days ago.
There's never been so much competition to the previously unchallenged Galaxy line flagships as this year, and apparently Samsung has decided to strike back earlier than anybody else. To show that they mean business, the insiders claim, Samsung is ready to equip the Galaxy S5 with a 64-bit Exynos processor, 16 MP camera with optical image stabilization, fingerprint scanner, and the speculated Design 3.0 phase metallic chassis.
All of these we've heard already to be announced or in the works by the company, including the gamechanging (for Samsung) chassis made of metal, so the unknowns are how it will all be put together in a design that is different than anything shown by Sammy so far. We've no qualms about the top-shelf 2014 specs, just very curious about the final decisions of the so far fairly orthodox Samsung design team.
