We have heard various rumors about the new iPhone 6 which will come with a larger display, but until now there have not been many details about what resolution the iPhone 6 display would come with.
The iPhone 5S, which has a 4 inch display has a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels, and now according to a recent report, the iPhone 6 display with have a resolution of 1704 x 960 pixels.
According to Marc Gurman from 9 to 5 Mac, apple currently has an iPhone 6 with a 4.7 inch display in testing, the display has a resolution of 1704 x 960 pixels.
Of course this does not mean that Apple will decide to go for this resolution in the final iPhone 6, we would hope that they would go for at least the full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The iPhone 6 is expected to launch in two different sizes, one with a 4.7 inch display, the other with a 5.5 inch display, the handset will also come with a range of other upgrades over the iPhone 5S.
The next generation iPhone will come with the new Apple 8 processor, it will also get a new camera module, which is said to be an 8 megapixel camera with electronic image stabilization.
The iPhone 6 is expected to launch in September, along with the new Apple iWatch and also Apple iOS 8, as soon as we get some more information on the new iPhone, we will let you guys know.
