ماه مي گذشته بود که شايعاتي مبني بر فعاليت ساموسنگ براي توليد یک هدست واقعیت مجازی شبیه به Oculus Rift ، منتشر گرديد.امروز تصويري منتسب به اين هدست با نام Gear Vr منتشر شده که شايعات گذشته را بيش از پيش تقويت مي کند.
به گفته SamMobile ، Gear VR قرار است سپتامبر سال جاری در نمایشگاه لوازم الکترونیکی مصرفی IFA برلین رونمایی گردد. آنگونه که در عکس مشاهده می شود، طراحی بیرونی این دستگاه در دو رنگ قرمز و مشکی است. Gear VR همچنین دارای یک پد لمسی در کنار جایگاه لنز و یک دکمه که بر اساس گفته ها به کاربران اجازه می دهد تا از مد " see-through " استفاده کنند می باشد.
گرچه بسیاری از ویژگی ها در این عکس قابل مشاهده نمی باشد، اما سایت SamMobile گفت Gear VR دارای داک 3.0 یو اس بی خواهد بود که به کاربران این اجازه را می دهد تا یک دستگاه موبایل گلکسی را به آن متصل کنند. بدین وسیله به جای آنکه حسگرهایی در خود هدست جاسازی گردد این دستگاه می تواند از شتاب سنج گوشی موبایل برای ردیابی مغز استفاده نماید تا تاثیر یک واقعیت مجازی را دریافت کند. این نیروی محرک تا حدی به نیروی موجود در دستگاه واقعیت مجازی cardboard VR که به تازگی در کنفرانس I/O گوگل معرفی شد شبیه است.
گزارشات همچنین حاکی از این می باشد که Gear VR در زمان عرضه، به همراه مجموعه ای از اپلیکیشن ها و نیز SDK برای طراحان خواهد بود. از همه جالب تر اینکه SamMobile خبر داد درحالیکه سخت افزار این دستگاه توسط شرکت سامسونگ تولید خواهد شد، نرم افزار آن توسط تیم طراحان دستگاه واقعیت مجازی Oculus Rift به نام Oculus VR ارائه داده خواهد شد.
عرضه این محصول درست با برگزاری کنفرانس Oculus Connect که برای اواسط سپتامبر سال جاری برنامه ریزی شده است، همزمان خواهد بود. البته صحت و درستی این عکس هنوز تایید نشده است، اما اگر هدست VR همانی باشد که در عکس دیدیم، طراحی براق و قابلیت های اتصال به گوشی های گلکسی ممکن است توجه تعداد زیادی از کاربران که پیش از این تمایلی به این تکنولوژی نداشتند را به خود جلب نماید.

Photo of Samsung's Rumored Virtual Reality Headset Leaked Online
Back in May, reports surfaced claiming that Samsung was working on a virtual-reality headset similar to the Oculus Rift — and now it appears that an image of the device has been leaked.
Reportedly called the Gear VR, the device is shown in a photo from the side view, and includes graphic overlays briefly describing how it functions.

According to SamMobile, which posted the image, the Gear VR will make its debut at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin this September.
Featuring a red and black exterior, the photo of the supposed device includes a touch pad on the side of the lens housing, and a button that reportedly allows users to shift to a "see-through" mode.

Although not apparent in the image, SamMobile said the Gear VR will have a USB 3.0 dock that allows users to connect a Galaxy mobile device, thus using the mobile device's accelerometer for head tracking — rather than embedding sensors in the headset itself — to achieve a virtual-reality effect. This dynamic would presumably be similar to that of the cardboard VR contraption recently introduced at Google's I/O conference.
The report also claimed that the Gear VR will come with a selection of apps, as well as an SDK for developers, on the day of its launch.
Finally, and perhaps most interestingly, SamMobile reported that while the hardware will be manufactured by Samsung, the software will be provided by the team behind Oculus Rift developers, Oculus VR. The timing of such a pairing would fall right in line with the Oculus Connect conference, scheduled for mid-September.
Of course, the photo have not been confirmed, but if this is Samsung's rumored VR headset, the sleek design and supposed Galaxy interoperability would likely draw in mainstream users who may have not considered using VR technology.
