از زمان عرضه‌ی ایکس‌باکس وان، بازی‌خورهای PC، از مایکروسافت می‌خواستند که این قابلیت را به آن‌ها بدهد تا بتوانند از دسته‌ی بازی ایکس‌باکس وان برای PC استفاده کنند. سال‌هاست که ویندوز از دسته Xbox 360 پشتیبانی می‌کند.
این دسته بازی یکی از محبوب‌ترین‌ها بین بازی‌خورهاست؛ دسته ایکس‌باکس وان از آن هم بهتر است؛ پس طبیعی‌ست که مردم انتظار داشته باشند بتوانند از دسته‌ی این کنسول جدید برای PC استفاده کنند.
تابه‌حال به علت عدم وجود درایورهای مناسب، قابلیت استفاده از دسته مخصوص ایکس‌باکس وان در ویندوز وجود نداشت، اما حالا مدیر بخش برنامه‌نویسی Xbox Live، Larry Hryb، در وبلاگ خود فایل‌های نصب درایور مخصوص این دسته منحصر بفرد را برای دانلود قرار داده است. این فایل‌ها در 2 نسخه‌ی 32 بیتی و 64 بیتی ارایه شده‌اند.
دسته‌ی ایکس‌باکس وان در ایران با قیمت حدودی 215 هزار تومان (خرداد ماه 1393) به فروش می‌رسد.

Ever since the Xbox One released, PC gamers have been asking Microsoft to be able to use the new controller with their machines. The Xbox 360 controller has been available for PC for years now and it is one of the best controllers ever made but the new Xbox One controller is even better, so naturally people wanted to use it with their PC.
Up until now, there was no way to use the new controller with Windows due to a lack of drivers but Microsoft has taken care of that issue. Director of Programming for Xbox Live, Larry Hryb, more commonly known as Major Nelson, posted on his blog drivers that you can download on your PC to enable support for the new controller. The drivers are available for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows.
