Earlier today, Samsung started sending out invitations to its Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event that will take place on March 1 at MWC 2015. Although it doesn’t mention what handsets it’s going to announce then, the South Korean giant will almost surely unveil the Galaxy S6, as well as the Galaxy S Edge at the event. The curvy line that can be seen on the invite certainly suggests that an S Edge is hidden there.

While we’re waiting for Samsung to reveal all there is to know about its newest handsets, alleged European pricing details for both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have been posted by AndroidPit. According to “a trusted source close to the matter”, the Galaxy S6 will have three storage options – 32 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB – priced as follows: €749, €849, and €949. The Galaxy S Edge will have similar storage options, each costing an extra €100: €849, €949, and €1,049. Obviously, these are the expected prices for unlocked units.

At launch, last year’s Galaxy S5 had a starting price of €729 in some European markets, so these alleged Galaxy S6 prices aren’t that far-fetched. As for the Galaxy S Edge, we’re expecting it to be quite expensive anyway (seeing how the Galaxy Note Edge is also more expensive than the Galaxy Note 4).

Sure enough, for now there’s no way to confirm these prices. But we won’t be surprised if they turn out to be accurate.
